Furniture

Over the last 41 years that I have been in business, I have designed and built a large variety of Custom Furniture. Following is a small sampling of what I have made. In 2000 I was also Commissioned by the Clarence library to make all of the Tables and other Furniture for the New Library Building of Non-Toxic materials. For me this was a huge commission to fulfill.

Below is a Set of Images of a series of Hope Chests I custom made for individuals over the years. The woods are a Red Oak frame; Cherry Sunburst and the flowers are Green Sumac and Pink & White Box Elder.

Another variation of the Flower and Sunburst using the same woods.

Below: another sunburst Chest with the addition of Curly Birdseye Maple for the Sun.

Below: a Chest with both the Sunburst design with a galloping Horse on the top. The Sun is Curly Birdseye Maple, and the Horse is Walnut.

A Walnut and Oak Desk Custom made for Mr. Dan Coté, the Editor of the Double Gun Journal. The Drawer Handles are made from real Deer Antler.

Below: a China Cabinet made of White Oak with a Mirror back and Glass Shelves.

Below: A White Oak Coat & Hat Rack made for a customer in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Below: a Black Walnut Dining room set made for a customer with wood harvested and Sawn from his tree, and dried in my Soler Kiln.

The same customer also commissioned the four Cherry Benches also from his own Cherry tree.

Below: A White Oak Park Bench.

The Following Hutch was made of Tulip Poplar with Water Based stain and finish. It was part of a set that also included a dining table, chairs, a sideboard and a Desk. The customer suffered from severe allergies, so everything had to be non-allergenic and non-toxic.

Below: a pair of Black Walnut three-legged round top tables made to a customer’s specifications.

Below: a customer had a flat top Oak Desk but wanted it to be Roll Top, so I built this whole top to fit over the existing desktop.

A 36-inch wide four harness Loom I built for myself out of Beech Wood.
